Some of my personal client success stories!

Clients come to us in a lot of different ways, we had a client that we had been doing pro services work for who happened to mention they had an existing MSP that may have reached their top of the competency level as they were having to hire us for all the strategic projects. Moving to the cloud, Azure AD, infrastructure consolidations. We spoke with them about observations we made while working on these projects and how we might potentially do support differently than they were approaching it today. The client was excited to see how much we already understood about their business and asked us to propose a new support solution.

A potential client came to us that had to consolidate rapidly, the pandemic had gutted their business, they had gone from 700 employees to about 250 and 42 offices to 14 active offices all with disparate IT providers. I love a challenge; we came back to them with several creative solutions. We reviewed their current support contracts to create a business case for terminating some, waiting some out and negotiating payoffs for others. We found a company to purchase the 500 plus laptops, monitors etc. Although they only recouped a portion of their value the cost of warehousing and managing all the equipment was substantially more. 1Path came up with a plan to hire some of their existing IT resources to soften the learning curve during the integration of their remaining sites as well as having a place for their valued employees to go, where they would have to have separated them.

A company that called out of the blue to say they needed an IT partner in the next 36 hours as they were letting their team go due to security concerns. They already spoke with 3 MSP’s before they came to us.  The first thing we discussed was not their IT needs, instead we discussed our experiences with this particular challenge (it’s not my first rodeo as they say).  As soon as they recognized they had an experienced partner we walked them through what the first 2-3 days would look like for their business (the good the bad and the ugly).  Right there they said they were going with us.  That is when we began to discuss their IT needs.  I always smile when I think of those clients in challenging situations and helping instill a sense of “it’s going to be OK”
