The city of Acworth and Cobb County in metro Atlanta recently broke ground on a high-tech community center that is expected to open in March 2019.
The 44,000-square-foot facility includes a large gym with raised walking track and space for group exercise. There will also be rooms where visitors can enjoy yoga, dance and other classes.
The center will feature a large state-of-the-art room that will serve as a 350-seat banquet hall and be used for trade shows and large gatherings. The space can also be subdivided into four rooms for smaller meetings and events.
1Path is proud to be the technology partner for the center, and will provide all the building technology systems, including voice and data cabling, audiovisual, security, fire alarm, wireless access and emergency responder radio coverage (ERRC).
Atlanta area 1Path employees Chance Yancey and Chas Yancey were honored to have been included in the groundbreaking which took place on January 25, 2018. The ceremony was also attended by community leaders such as Acworth Mayor Tommy Allegood and Parks & Recreation Director James Albright.
