1Path received the Employer of the Year award today, presented by Teddy McDaniel of the Urban League of the Central Carolinas at a luncheon hosted by the City of Charlotte, Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont and the Urban League of the Central Carolinas. In particular, 1Path was recognized for its participation in Corporate Advisory Council activities for Project PIECE Residential and Commercial Construction, Highway Construction and Broadband and Fiber Optic Corporate Advisory Councils.” Project PIECE (Partners for Inclusive Employment and Career Excellence) is a work force development program that provides training to help people gain and keep jobs. 1Path employs more graduates of the PIECE Fiber Optic program than anyone else in the city of Charlotte.
The award was presented by President and CEO of the Urban League of the Central Carolinas Teddy McDaniel, Charlotte City Councilman James Mitchell, and several others. 1Path appreciates the partnership with the Urban League and the City of Charlotte, and looks forward to working with and further supporting them in the coming year.
