Gerry brings 25 years of IT experience to his role as a Fractional CIO at 1Path. His journey began troubleshooting computers during his university days, and since then, he has continued to expand his expertise.  Certified by ISC2, Microsoft, EMC, Cisco, ITIL, and other leading organizations, Gerry offers a deep reservoir of knowledge that he brings to the boardroom.  

His extensive background spans all facets of infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud technologies. Over the years, Gerry has led teams, overseen businesses, and advised multinational corporations, financial institutions, and governments throughout Europe and North America. 

With half of his career spent in consulting, Gerry excels at integrating seamlessly into teams and offering diverse insights to organizations. His security specialization is comprehensive, considering the entire infrastructure and business landscape. This holistic approach allows him to effectively align security strategies with business objectives. 

Gerry earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Applications from Dublin City University, further solidifying his strong foundation in technology.
