Since 2023, Randy Nieves has served as Vice President of Professional Services at 1Path, focusing on delivering exceptional quality and results with projects and client onboarding. With over 34 years in software development and IT managed services, Randy leverages his experience to help guide our clients through their most complex challenges.  

He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Southern Mississippi, is ITIL certified, and has numerous technology certifications. 

After graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi, Randy began his career as a software programmer in Biloxi, MS, focusing on code for schools and local municipalities. His interest in hardware and networking led him to California in 1995 after his firm secured a major school district contract. Over the years, he took on lead roles, eventually becoming a director of technical operations. 

After 15 years in K12, Randy transitioned to a consulting firm managing IT for diverse industries. There, he leveraged his software development skills to build new teams and maintain close relationships with customers. He held various roles, eventually becoming CTO as the company grew significantly. In late 2021, Randy joined 1Path as CTO, focusing on developing and evolving the service catalog and ensuring customers achieve their goals through effective technology use. 

Randy has been married for 25 Years and has two children that are his pride and joy. When he’s not spending time with his family, Randy enjoys watching sci-fi and comedy, playing video games, and a good IPA or glass of wine.
